DFW Gorillas Continue Championship-Level Play, Defeating Minnesota Broncos and CEO Kings on the Road

DFW, TX — October 2026

The DFW Gorillas made a statement on the road, bringing home two impressive victories after defeating the Minnesota Broncos and CEO Kings in back-to-back matchups. Despite traveling with only eight players, the Gorillas demonstrated resilience, offensive firepower, teamwork, and the determination that continues to define their organization.

The Gorillas opened the road trip with an explosive offensive performance against the Minnesota Broncos, securing a commanding 160-110 victory. With limited personnel, the team showed no signs of slowing down, putting together a balanced scoring attack that overwhelmed its opponent.

Gerard Andrus led the offensive charge with 30 points. Montreal Scott followed with 29 points, while Michael McGee added 27 and Eddie Sims contributed 24. Lemon Roberts finished with 16 points, Anthony Magee scored 15, Steven McDonald recorded 10 points and dished out nine assists, and Wolf Rabb added nine points and six rebounds.

The offensive production highlighted the Gorillas’ ability to distribute the basketball, capitalize on scoring opportunities, and maintain pressure throughout the contest.

The team carried that momentum into its second matchup against the CEO Kings, earning another hard-fought road victory, 131-116. The win completed a 2-0 road trip and further demonstrated the team’s ability to overcome challenges and compete at a high level, even with a shortened roster.

Winning two road games with only eight available players speaks volumes about the team’s chemistry, preparation, and commitment. Rather than allowing limited numbers to become an obstacle, the Gorillas embraced the challenge and delivered when it mattered most.

For an organization continuing to build on its championship tradition, these victories represent more than two wins in the standings. They reflect a team culture built around accountability, perseverance, and the willingness to compete regardless of circumstances.

With two road victories secured, the message from the DFW Gorillas remains clear: The mission hasn’t changed, and the crown isn’t going anywhere without a fight.

Two Games. Two Victories. Eight Players. One Brotherhood.
